Applications Within Software as a Medical Device Researchers trained a CNN on data from

>1000 MRI scans, from healthy patients and those with parkinsonsdisease. The trained network classified all of 56 scans in the test data correctly. Analysis of the weightings in the trained network highlights regions of brain activity contributing to a parkinsons diagnosis by the network.
