Big Data as Real World Data (RWD)

Provides information from a wider patient population than a more traditional clinical trial, and thus provide information that cannot be obtained through a traditional clinical trial alone

RWD should be used in a manner that limits bias

Retrospective analysis of RWD may have some inherent bias that could limit its value as (RW) evidence
