Track & Trace

• At each point in the chain the UDI barcode is scanned and a log created in the system • This log should contain the details of the stakeholder and the product • As the product moves through the supply chain an event history is developed • At the point of administration, the details are recorded in the patient record • In the event of a recall then the event history would give the track the details
