Different versions - VTQ®

• The technology described is a software application used with either the Acuson S2000 or S3000 ultrasound platforms. • Most included studies used the Siemens Acuson S2000 ultrasound system to perform VTQ® imaging. • In other cases the ultrasound platform used was not specified. • Ultrasound technologies at least 5 years apart • Acuson S2000 CE marked February 2008. • Acuson S3000 CE marked November 2012. • The assumption during the HTA process was that there is no impact on patient outcomes • Different software versions • In 2015 Siemens had to recall 629 units worldwide because a software change affected the measurements

Potential measurement error on ACUSON S Family ultrasound system. When repositioning the Virtual Touch IQ region of interest from the original (default) location, the lateral position of the measurement tool may not align with the lateral position of the shear velocity data.
