Advantages • Higher resolution parts / non-porous • Greater accuracy (to nominal) • Reduced build times • No delamination • Good material range (including medical grade)

Disadvantages • Post processing required (UV/IPA) • Can become brittle in sunlight • Supports required • Higher material/machine cost

• Fully self-supporting • Capable of highly complex geometry • Great mechanical properties and finishing possibilities • No delamination • Polymer and metal material range (bio-compatible)

• Post processing required • Poor surface finish • Higher material/machine cost • Longer set up required
