● Always investigate information for yourself ● Know the strategy, including when to withdraw ● Understand the best case/worst case timelines ● Communicate timelines to ALL functions within your organisation ● Build good relationships with RMS contacts ● Know your deadlines and chase Agencies if no response

● Keep up to date: Monitor websites, e.g. Heads of Agency and CMDh regularly, as guidances and template may change ● Know and refer to the guidance – ‘Best Practice Guide for the Decentralised and Mutual Recognition Procedures ’ on CMDh website Regularly updated (latest is April 2022) – Other ‘Best Practice Guides’ and SOPs also very useful ● Don ’ t be afraid to check within the MSs as they know best!
