Developing a trust-based relationship takes a long time

To understand the Japanese and win their trust: - Make an effort to build relationship (Face to face meetings)

- Deliver on time (Punctuality, meet timelines) - Honor your promises (even the trivial ones!) - Admit your mistakes, apologize

- Be humble - Be patient
