• Data privacy is a fundamental right. Therefore, protection of that data – and that right – is paramount to meeting legal and regulatory obligations. • Allowing data subjects to understand what we do with their data, and to have access to it when they require, is key to good governance. However, having a measured approach to transparency – as opposed to enforced full disclosure – is the most prudent approach.
