• Ads must be “obviously identifiable”

• Payment + control = advertising

• Affiliate marketing = advertising

• Disclosure: #ad, #advert, #advertising – avoid anything else

• Up-front, prominent and obvious

• Consider how ads are displayed on different devices and platforms
